WASTE TO ENERGY

Energy production line modification project (Waste to Energy)

Project description: (France)

Optimising energy recovery

The two oldest incineration lines have been replaced by a new, more efficient incineration line with dry flue gas treatment.

Between 2016 and 2020, a major energy optimisation project will transform the plant into a true energy recovery unit.

Electricity production will increase from 30,000 to 100,000 MWh, thanks to a cogeneration system that allows the plant to choose between electricity and/or heat production according to demand.

A new dry flue gas treatment system has made the plume virtually invisible.

DIEPCM Role:

Represented PACTSNZ construction on aero condensers (45t & 35t) relocation. Piping of superheated water system ASME VIII category.

Project to build a waste treatment plant in Poland (KROSNO)

Project description : (Pologne)

A combined heat and power (CHP) plant built using refuse-derived fuel (RDF) from the local sorting plant. Total electrical and thermal production of 10MW.

DIEPCM Role:

Represented PAPREC as Project director of main contractor JV with INSTAL WARSAWA
